Brim looked at Vaati with a smile "He is quite young but he has shown quite a lot of potential so it is exciting to my people because of that." Brim calmed himself before he continued his excitement almost got the better of him he noticed the new comer that Vaati was staring at "Oh never seen his kind before." He said as he looked at the Twili Colossus from head to toe, Brim smiled as he approached him "Hello there, looks like you been a few battles, my name is Brimick most call me Brim." He said as he pounded his chest the same way as he greeted Raven before.

Galte felt out of place. As a stranger in a new world, there was so much for him to take in. As he watch people celebrate and cheer, he feared he'd have little in common with everyone. He felt like an idiot as well, having not stopped to talk to the gentleman he nodded to, especially after said man had lifted his mask to reply to him. He turned on himself, but the man was already speaking to someone else. Perhaps he'd have a have to speak with him later? It would be difficult to say, there were countless more people here then twili back home. Galte had a sinking suspicion that this wasn't the only kingdom.

Perhaps for now, being an observer would be the best means to enjoy this festival. Galte made his way over to another bench, imitating the gentleman he rudely ignored and sat down, trying to take up as little place as possible. He blinked slowly, steadying himself mentally, once again realizing this was his new home for life. It was certainly more colourful then his previous home and far more dynamic. There were so many times of folk. From where he sat, he could see a creature that looked like rock made it up, a lady with a beak and vastly coloured plumage. There was a purple haired person talking with them. The fellow from before was knealing down before a darker skinned lady. Galte tilted his head. Was the man hurt? or was this some form of greeting. It was perhaps best not to blindly imitate what he saw until clarified later.

he placed his hands on his thighs, let out a sigh and continued to watch, still as an oak tree.

"Ah, I see. It seems that I have simply heard of his boisterous and loud claims by word of mouth then. He certainly has some big shoes to fill all things considered. Perhaps he is acting out because of that?" Vaati asked in a contemplative manner. "Rugrag... Hmm, that name somewhat rings a bell; from what I've heard he is rather young. I could be wrong again though; I've only really been to Snowhead on business related matters."

Vaati shrugged, shortly turning his attention to Medla's questions. "That I do, I am a traveling alchemist by trade." Speaking of alchemists, something of a 'business colleague' made their way into town; a Gerudo by the name of Sivilu. Vaati took note of her presence with a cursory glance from behind his mask, but chose not to disturb her, mostly because Vaati saw Raven moving to greet her. It would be ill mannered to suddenly approach, and Raven near enough looked like he wanted to stab Vaati all of a sudden. Like any other person with some form of self preservation, Vaati liked to avoid being stabbed. "Oh, so you haven't been to a Rito settlement as of late? Surely you are curious as to the customs of your people? I too have heard that place is veiled by magic, I personally have never been there either though I do have a contact that I trade wares with that is from there."

Another interesting addition meandered their way into the party; a stranger that looked very much like a Twili Colossus. Vaati secretly being not only sorcerer of the dark arts, but regularly attentive to the vibes of magic around him due to his travels could quite easily tell. Unlike what is typical of Twili to do being that they're known mischief makers in many circles of conversation, this one seemed quite meek and mild mannered. Vaati's thoughts on the matter were thus; 'Huh. Neat.'

When Sivilu's voice escaped her lovely lips it sounded like an angelic choir to Raven, he'd become somewhat smitten with the Gerudo before him after there meeting out on the endless western sands. The first thing she said made him turn a brilliant shade of pink, it was true she'd hidden the true nature of their encounter quite well with her honeyed words but it still caught the knight off guard. He cleared his throat and tried to compose himself still kneeling before her out of something much more than respect. "Yes Madam Sivilu, My wounds have healed beyond measure thanks to your knowledge of medicine and....kind heart."

He wasn't as forward with his words as the lovely lady before him, however he took her hand in his and replied. "I cannot speak for you Madam however I for one believe the goddess brought us together that fateful night, for our love was written in the stars. That is why they aligned and brought me back to you. I've been praying for your safe return, not that I'd dare doubt your abilities, Madam but this old sellsword dose tend to worry." He kissed her hand hand lightly showing just how earnest he was about his emotions before answering with the utmost hate.

"Yes the festival. Today is a very special Sheikah holiday that honors the dead. It allows them to pass peacefully and not linger in our world. It's the first year it's being celebrated in Castle Town, in a way it's making history as royal relations all over the kingdom are growing stronger; which in turn allows for grand multicultural events such as this." Raven pulled down the yellow mask with the black tipped ears gesturing towards it. "This was a popular character from my childhood, that combined with all the treats my mother used to bake are making me feel quite nostalgic." As used to kneeling as he was his knee starting to become sore as he struggled to keep a stern stance. "Before I ask permission to rise I just wanted say you've made this festival of the dead really come to life also Madam your new attire is quite fetching." While Raven was trained to be overly polite and charming something about Sivilu just made him go that Extra mile, she was being treated as if she was Princess Zelda herself.

Sivilu’s gaze was drawn towards the towering Twili as he made his way through the town; whilst she kept her distance from other for now, she continued playing her quiet tune.

However such seclusion during such festivities was hardly an appropriate place for privacy and before she knew it she came face to face with a Hylian she had met recently. Her plump lips curled and graced him with a knowing smile, “Sav'saaba, Sir Raven,” she cooed to him as her dainty yet strong fingers continued to thrum against the singing strings of the Oud , “I trust that my treatment for your injuries has sufficed? I must admit, the chances of the stars allowing for us to cross paths once again is rather intriguing. That being said, I am very pleased to see that your journey since our last encounter has proven to be a safe one for you.”

The woman paused to look around her, allowing for her emerald-green eyes to soak in the atmosphere of the festivities ever so readily before setting her gaze back upon the warrior, “So, do you frequent this gala?”

Link's gaze shot wide open behind his mask as the lumbering titan of Twili decent greeted him and so eloquently to, taking a moment to collect himself he pulled up his mask revealing his face offering a nod along with a formal greeting. "Hail, friend welcome to Hyrule Castle Town strange...." He was however cut short as the Twilight Titan kept walking pressing forward not waiting for him to properly introduce himself. He knew this creature looked about a thousand times more intimating than the scrawny Vaati, however he chocked it up to just being a very good costume and he still couldn't shake the feeling the traveling mage was hiding something sinister.

Raven's mind soon turned from thoughts of paranoia to that of affection. His face lit up like the sun, brimming with happiness as he saw the object of his affection had finally arrived in town; he lowered his head in silent prayer for a moment thanking the goddess that his Gerudo companion had made it safely from the desert. Seeing her sitting by the statue in her shimmering attire Raven was drawn to her like she was an oasis in the blistering hot desert. He noticed her clothing was much more detailed than usual and she was playing a tune that was very much unlike her usual temperament. He stood and listened for a while his ears picking up the subtleties of her song, every note she played and word she hummed filled Raven with joy. Finally reaching the veiled gerudo he smiled kneeling before her as if she was royalty, he then lowered his head as a sign of respect, waiting for her to finish her beautiful song, not daring to interrupt with an introduce until she was finished; After spending some time with Sivilu he quickly learned it was best to not speak unless spoken to with her, He just continued kneeling staring up lovingly into her eyes.

Character Biographies / Princess Ruto: Sage Of Water
« Last post by Princess Ruto on April 03, 2018, 03:36:55 pm »
NAME: Ruto
TITLES: Princess Ruto, Sage of Water, Zoran Princess
RACE: Zora
GENDER: Female

OVERVIEW
As a princess of the Zoras, Ruto is at home in the water, ruling over Zora's Domain at the point where the Zora's River flows into Lake Hylia. While her refined speech may initially convince enemies and allies alike that she's stuck up and snobby, her actions as a warrior instantly remind those on the battlefield why she's so beloved. As a child Ruto was demanding and bratty acting as quite the tomboy, however with age she took in a far more proper and ladylike demeanor. Being the eldest child of the royal Bloodline Ruto carries herself with dignity and a haughty air, this carries into the way she speaks and makes demands of others living up to her title. While expecting great things from others in her service, Ruto treats those who give her the respect she's due as well as a princess can. She enjoys fine jewelry and doting over her family and friends especially her younger sister Mipha. Ruto at an early age figured out she had a talent for controlling bodies of water, upon the discovery of this power she awakened as The Sage of Water. Ruto took to her role as a sage with grace and discipline, determined to learn everything she could about the responsibilities. Her strict study study eventually allowed her enough mastery over her powers to even create water from thin air and halt destructive tidal waves. While Ruto is the eldest, heir to the throne and The Sage of Water, she's even more proud of her younger sister's accomplishments. Ruto is overjoyed that Mipha is considered the finest Zora warrior her kingdom has to offer along with her title as Divine Champion. While Mipha is rather modest about her accomplishments, Ruto loves bragging about her sisters status, often encouraging her to be the best warrior and healer she can be.

APPEARANCE
Ruto is a light blue Zora sporting darker blue accents on the tips of her fins, the mixtures of these patterns make her fins look like rippling water wherever flow or move. She has a shapely womanly body adorned with glittering jewelry around her wrists; her bracelets are a mixture of gold bangles and silver scales that turn form wrist bands, hanging off these bangles are various Sapphires that complement the color of her fins. While her ability to control water is innate the sapphires on these bracelets do help her focus her powers. Ruto's face is beautiful and well defined with elegant eyes, the top of her head has two smaller eyes and is rounded resembling a hammerhead shark mixed with a regal royal updo in some respects. She has light blue lips and ears that fan out into dorsal fins, hanging from her ears are purple diamond earrings left to her by her late mother. Her regal fins are attached to her forearms and hips somewhat resembling a dress complementing her womanly features.

POWERS & ABILITIES
As the Sage Of Water Ruto has total control over the element she represents. Water bends to her will and she can use it for just about anything from washing away her enemies to opening portals to far away oceans. As a Zora she is an excellent swimmer easily keeping pace with the fastest of fish while her gills allow her to breath underwater.

How unusual. Exile was meant to be a punishment, and yet there was live and joy and excitement. Galte had emerged into this world near a castle town hosting a celebration of sorts. Various lanterns adorned stone walls, music fills the air and what he assumed were the children of this world ran about wearing masks. He gently touched his own 'face', chuckling to himself. it was oddly appropriate that he, who bore a mask, arrived on a day where they were customary. Perhaps they always wore masks? That would be a blessing. Galte kept to the shadow as best he could. Though confident in his strength, he wasn't at all in this world. How would they feel abound a veritable giant among them? No, that would cause panic. However, he didn't want to leave. There was so much going on.

He took a deep breath and slowly stepped onto the draw bridge, gently floating over the worn wooden planks towards the hub of activity and festivity. A few children spotted him and ran over, gaping in awe. He froze and slowly waved to them. They giggled and waved back, soon pelting him with the innumerable questions that only a child could conjure. He bent down slowly, answering them as best he could. He told them he was a stranger to these lands, a visitor from a place far far away. He was alone, yes but he was excited to see what all this was. Yes he was wearing a mask too, but not a happy one. It was an important mask to his people. They children seemed satisfied and they ran off. Galte let out a breath and stood back up, hoping that interaction hadn't drawn any unwanted attention. This was strange. Normally Galte enjoyed the attention, but in a new place like this it made him feel uneasy.

He continued to walk through the crowd, passing a gentleman on a bench wearing some wooden idol mask. Galte turned to look at him and uttered a simple "Good evening." before continuing on, walking with a confidence and control he certainly did not feel inside. Faking it was perhaps the best way to survive here, at least for now.

Character Biographies / Gatle : Twilight Colossus
« Last post by Galte on April 03, 2018, 10:56:22 am »

Why am I here? Is it not obvious? I gave into greed and desire. I sought forbidden power. They feared I would become a usurper like one before me. However, I don’t seek political power. I seek this power for myself, and myself alone. I don't plan to use against anyone. Few seem to understand that. -Galte

Name: Galte : Colossus of the Twilight

Nickname(s): Big Guy, Exiled One

Gender: Male

Age: Young Adult

Species: Twili

Triforce Affinity: Triforce of Power

Appearance: Unlike the thin, lanky appearance of his fellows, Galte is a towering brute. Broad shouldered and muscular. Notably as well is the fat that he wears a shadow beast’s helm. His hair forms into a shadow beast’s tendrils, and the marking of his kind, normally blue, fade through purple into red along his claw tipped fingers. He carries himself with a sense of pride and confidence be it as he walks of floats.

Personality: Despite being mildly power hungry, Galte has no interest in political power. He seeks no influence over country or army and would prefer to be excluded from any form of citizen forum. His lust is purely his own and his own life. This can often be difficult to get across to others, understandably so, but he’s content to explain to anyone willing to listen.

He often feels his interest in power stems from the Usurper Zant and his manipulation of the Twili. Galte was partially changed into a Shadow Beast during that time, however the process was reverted by the hero of time, and a Sol. It felt like Eons ago, but the feeling of power that came with that form never left the, then, young twili. He keeps these feelings internalised and quiet, fearing people would think he seeks to be another problem for him people.

He tends to think and act in equal amounts. He understands his strength and often seeks to apply it with precision. There is no sense is being strong and flailing about uselessly. A hammer is best when it actually hits a nail, and not the hand holding it.

Likes:
  • Cloudy days
  • The incredulous stares of others
  • Challenges of a physical nature.

Dislikes:
  • Bright, sunny days
  • Holier-than-thou folk
  • Persistent comparaisons to Zant

Abilities:
  • Supernatural Strength: It should come as no surprise that Galte is ridiculously strong. He’s best compared to a Goron for strength.
  • Self Levitation: Galte is capable of suspending himself in the air, as thought weightless. He can not extend this to anyone or anything. This is a result of his lack of training in this area of magic, as well as interest.
  • Warping: Should the colossus come across a twilight portal, there is a strong change he would be able to use it to transport himself and anyone in proximity to him. He can not make these gats as of yet.

Weaknesses:
  • Bright Lights: Thought Galte can survive in the Light Realm, it does not mean it is without difficulty. His skin burns and his eyes ache on even an overcast day, when exposed for prolonged time.
  • Mind control: Galte’s lust for power is more than exploitable. One may not even need magic to persuade the young wili in cooperation. Just dangle the right carrot before him and he’ll swear loyalty.

Miscellaneous: The Helm he sports floats just in front of his face, but his tendril like hair obscures it from the sides.

Brief Biography: As a child, Galte ended up almost serving in Zant’s armies. Partially changed into a shadow beast, but reverted by the hero of time and a Sol. Since then, he sought that same feeling of power. His heart never gave into darkness, as he held onto a core narrative. The power was to be his, used by him and never against or for someone else.

He trained for countless hours, which troubled some of the leaders’ of the tribe, who were concerned with his apparent blind lust for power. Galte accepted their concerns, and tried to explain the more intimate and personal relationship he had with this quest, but it felt onto deaf ears. Galte could not fault them. He knew well of Zant’s crime and was determined to never fall down the same path.

The hands of the leaders’ were forced, in time, when Galte discovered a relic from the invasion. A near pristine Shadow Beast helm. As if making a pact with a dark god, Galte placed it upon his face and accepted it’s corrupting power. At last, he felt the same feeling from his youth. The sudden burst of power did not go unnoticed, and he was immediately apprehended without resistance. It was no surprise to him that he was now facing a trial and subsequently banished. Execution was on the table, but he showed no animosity or aggression. The only thing he refused to cooperate with was the relinquishment of the helm.

To prevent another calamity, the leaders’ decided it would be best to exile the Twili to the Realm of Light. The realm of shadows would certainly lead to a more disastrous situation, as who knew what the power hungry Twili would encounter or become. They granted Galte a parting gift, the ability to survive in the light, and cast him out.

It’s here that Galte’s new life will begin, all ties to his home severed, among people who may understand him. At worst he may just be left alone and left to his own vices.
