(Nya:  I'm late to reply because my player has had the flu and has been spending as much of her time as possible asleep or in pain trying to sleep).

Quick on the draw, this one was.  Nya was surprised that he wasn't trying to cut her down, that he was going for a shield-attack.  In her spying on him, she'd seen him deftly take care of monsters without hesitation, so why was he hesitating in giving her a real fight?  Was it because she was human?  It didn't matter.  She didn't have the same scruples.

"Everything dies!" she countered, "Only Lord Ganon lives forever!"

She made a slash for his head.

"Oh, how gallant of you sir,"  Nya said, keeping up the act.

"You actually can be of further service to me," she said, standing up, remaining close and making a mental note of his exposed flank. "You are one of the knights of Hyrule's old order, correct?"

That was then that she gave him a cruel smile.  "I have been searching for you.  The service you can do for me is to die quickly."

One toss of a deku nut, ensuing smoke, and she had puffed into her Yiga clansman costume.  She whipped out her Demon Carver and went right for the throat of the confused Hylian.

Nya was wise enough not to enter those woods.

The Yiga footsoldier was certain that she had seen the target enter where few dared to tread - a place that was said to be a place of no return. There were many rumors about the Lost Woods - that you'd become twisted into a monster if you became lost in them and that the trees themselves would shift, hungry for human flesh and souls.  Many regarded it as a sacred place - and this was precisely why Nya wondered why people thought the great Ganon to be the evil one.  The forces of Light didn't seem to be any better.

All that was to be done was to watch the edge of the woods and wait... perhaps to try out the new disguise she'd perfected... a more piteous-looking traveler in distress than ever.  She'd gotten her acting down.  Master Kohga was most impressed with her ability to realistically cry.  It had fooled enough merchants and more than a few Hylian and Zora knights.

She made a mental note of that dagger she had hidden away on her person - not something she'd expected to use, much preferring her steel circular Demon Carver, but, perhaps, special targets should be dealt with in a special way.  The dagger was one she'd crafted from the thighbone of some "Sir Roland" of the Hylian knights - someone who was still officially "Missing in Action."  She smirked to herself.  The rest of that one would never be found... at least not unless his compatriots were brave enough to sift through a Lynel's litter box.

Nya tied up her hair, adjusted her cloak and looked at herself in a still puddle.  She was the spitting image of a bedraggled Hylian damsel in distress.

Perfect.

Isn't Master Kogha's belly so dreamy?  - The Yiga Clan

For the bananas! - The Yiga Clan

Her other name is Death and she walks on silent feet.  - Gerudo merchants

What the hell kind of of name is "Swiftblade?"  Ego, much?  _ Yiga clan members who don't admire Nya so much.

Name: Nya "Swiftblade."
Title / Rank: Mid-level Yiga
Race: Sheikah / Yiga (Yiga being a splinter group of Sheikah rather than a race unto themselves).
Age: Unknown

Personality and History

Nya is an ambitions member of the Yiga Clan. Not much is known about her outside of the Yiga Clan given that all members are sworn to an air of mystery.  It is not known if Nya is her actual name but "Swiftblade" was certainly chosen by her as a moniker to make herself feel more important than she actually was when she was a recruit.  However, her stealth and killing skills quickly earned her a higher place in the ranks. She is efficient and prides herself on clean kills, but will not shy away from giving her targets a death by a thousand cuts if they bother to fight back.  She is an expert at hiding bodies with many methods for disposal should her bosses want a target not only dead but to disappear entirely, including a knack for crafting unusual weapons out of bone, although the Demon Carver is her weapon of choice.

When attacking a group, such as a merchant caravan to procure their valuables, she has a habit of leaving the member she deems the weakest alive so that they may tell the tale - typically severely injured if they are an adult.  Nya strangely has a soft spot for children.  She never does hit jobs on children, and if ordered to, tends to find a way to fake the job (not that they go unscathed, if she murders their parents.  She'll orphan children, she just doesn't kill them).  She keeps her eye on young ones that she think may make good recruits for the Yiga.

Weapons

Duplex Bow and Demon Carver, with a preference for the latter.

Skills

Stealth and disguise, typical of Yiga.  More often than not lures her prey in by pretending to be a distraught woman, has a really convincing cry.

Life Goals

She is ambitious and has sworn herself to be the single Yiga who succeeds in killing the Hero of Hyrule.  She also has plans to supplant Master Kohga as leader of the Yiga.  She has loyalty enough to him while he still lives, but she's waiting for his fall, which she thinks is just a matter of time for the old fart, despite how sexy his belly is.

Favorite Food

Mighty Bananas, of course.  She's the best Yiga at making banana bread.
