Cia moaned with pleasure seeing the Triforce of Courage surrendered to her so willingly; she licked her lips and plucked the golden triangle from the air before it sealed itself within her hand. She smiled looking at the back of her hand as two out of three triangles were filled in gold and glowing brightly; now having attained another piece of the triforce Cia's aura changed she now went from imposing to nigh unstoppable. The wicked witch now seemed larger than life itself as she let out a haughty life tossing her hostage aside. The knife slipped away into the Shadow's as Cia floated above the the seemingly powerless duo, lording her power over them with an impressive display of magic; the dragon's scales melted away to nothing as the dying beast was encompassed in a golden light, this process allowed her to add the dragon's power to her own. Cia once again looked down to Raven and the red haired mage before blowing a kiss and ascending into the heavens before vanishing completely.

With the golden glow gone the darkness crept back in only to be chased away by the flickering flames; what had just transpired here was sure to have an adverse effect on the entirety of Hyrule. While a force of evil was gathering power there was nothing our heroes could do now but head towards civilization and lick their wounds.

The flickering flames caused the shadows to dance as if they had a mind all their own while they begun to rise up slowly towering over Kaythenia; the darkness engulfing the mage it slowly formed into a feminine figure adorned with a gold and black evening gown with a matching headdress and mask that covered her piercing crimson eyes. A smile curled around her luscious lips as she slid her dainty hands around her victim's neckline, holding out her hand the darkness swirled around her fingertips before forming an ornate dagger. Swiftly pulling the dagger close the mysterious woman held the razor's edge to Kaythenia's neck a seductive voice rang out.

"You should be worried about yourself girl. I almost had Sir. Raven here dead to rights until you had to go and spoil my fun. No matter you shall serve my purpose none the less."

With a swift motion she held the red headed girl close pressing the knife against her vital veins. "You may have vanquished the dragon but you were foolish to bring an alley into our little game. You know what happens to your comrades that get caught up in our little dance. Surrender unto me the golden power or her blood shall forever stain your hands, could you live with yourself after that lover? Knowing you let somebody who risked their life for you die because you were hoarding all that delicious power to yourself. You've already got that bloody sword, now share your toys." She said with a slight pout before licking her lips knowing she had backed her enemy into a corner.

Cia was fuming in anger at the trio of rejections she got the mage and the alchemist especially vexed her for the sheer arrogance of rejecting her gifts. While she hadn't manage to recruit her chosen to her side by tapping into the darkness of their hearts she had managed to interrupt the festival thus disturbing the dead and causing a plague of untold horrors upon the living. Cia let out a haughty laugh as she raised her staff and moved forward with the next portion of her plan. The ground where the fountain stood begun to crumble away as if rapidly eroding into nothingness; those who has reached the safety of the barrier would feel a falling sensation as they plummeted into the darkness below. Whatever awaited them in the depths below was sure to make whatever they had just experienced tame by comparison. They would all fall into the darkness below with only the faint light of the master sword illuminating the darkness as they descended. As they were swallowed up by the dark Cia's voice rang out again this time devoid of it's usual sensual tone, only to be replaced by a cold and unforgiving voice.

"The dead will rise up and walk Hyrule again this day while you the living descend into darkness just as they once had. You'll all survive the fall I'm counting on it....you'll need whats left of your energy to face the trails ahead. You'll all be swallowed up by the darkness in The Forgotten Catacombs.

(The Arc starts in one week. I've been drawing and planning out a temple for you guys to explore so get ready to face off against Cia and the undead. Not to worry those of you still safe on the surface I have things for you to enjoy as well.)

Cia wanted to wait until a more dramatic time of the night to unleash her plague but it had seems the little mind mage had forced her hand. She was furious that Vaati had swept away those she promised to save and to make matters worse he alerted the hero to her scheme. No matter it was all trivial in the end as she would put her plan into action now. The clouds covered the moon ensure no light would break through the heavens above as a black fog rolled in from over the hills. This fog was thick and almost impossible to see through and to make matters worse it traveled to the town on a cold wind. The chilling winds blew the flames flicking within the lanterns out eliminating any protection the people of Hyrule Castle had against evil entities and curses. The fog rolled in slowly at first causing people to pause but panic soon followed, it seemed unnatural and almost sentient as it went about engulfing the town. The black mist started slowly enveloping the town from the outside forming a circle that slowly got smaller and smaller. Those who were caught in the nightmare mist fell to the ground and begun to break out into violent coughing fits. Those who were unaffected stayed behind to help their friends and slowly started to suffer the same fate; seeing this those who were wiser ran to the center of town screaming wanting to avoid the same fate as the others.

That wouldn't be the end of the fogs effects however, once the fits of coughing had ended the people afflicted began coughing up blood and what came next could only be described as unspeakable acts of evil. Those stricken ill by the fog would have their healthy bodies morph and violently contort into an anorexic frame with equally as horrifying decaying skin; their faces hidden behind wooden masks that manifested thanks to whatever magic was causing this. These newly twisted creatures that strongly resembled Zombies or Redeads would moan and howl as they dragged what little of the unaffected townsfolk into the fog to join them. To make matters worse the fact the festival had concluded early angered the dead and the souls of the dead began to float about the town whaling aiding the walking corpses in adding to their numbers. There was a small area at the center of town where the survivors were gathering to escape fog, that would be the safest place for now.

Despite being in the woods far away from town that same seductive voice echoed within Vaati's mind. "Don't think yourself clever, you've only hastened their demise and saved a handful of people. By the time this night is done, young mage YOU WILL REGRET YOUR ACTIONS!" And with that the voices stopped only leaving the evil fog to consume the castle capital of Hyrule.

When questioned by the Twili Cia didn't respond he'd be met only with silence. However this short lived peace wouldn't last as the Captain got back on his feet and the guards returned with heavy chains. Shooting a glare at those who would defend the giant he drew his sword while spitting furiously. "You'd all leap to the defense of this thing!? Freaks and traitors the lot of you. You'll all be spending the remainder of the festival in the castle dudgeon. TAKE THEM!" With the order given the guards held up their spears and moved in attempting to chain up the group that sided with the otherworldly monster. Spying a young man talking to the giant the captain shoved him aside. "Out of the way son, official royal guard business." He said in a haughty tone that was followed with a smug grin. "I'd imagine the castle mage will have fun cutting the lot of you up."

A seductive voice smooth as velvet pried it's way inside the minds of the Gerudo,Twli Beast and Wind Mage. The voice had no visible source it only echoed inside their skulls, the words spoken seemed as if they were dripping with honey and venom all at the same time. "I call to those of you society shuns; those considered unfit or freaks, those with evil in their hearts. Listen and listen well, a storm is coming and I am your salvation. I can offer you safe passage and dominion over Hyrule; all you need is to accept my gift. The wind of death will sweep this town within the hour and only I can save you, simply speak the words my desire is unsated and I'll do the rest. I know what all of you are thinking, why should I algin with you? We are all alike in one regard, darkness is at the core of who we are. Sivilu you are a member of a race of all females thieves who long ago in ancient times served The King Of Evil; you cannot escape your heritage or what you are. You who have stepped out of the world of shadows and into the land of light; I sense a deep drive for power in your heart. You see how cruelly these people treat you? Brand you a monster and lead you to be locked away forever, I offer you sanctuary my brother and a place at my side." After talking to the first two there was a slight pause followed by a deafening silence.

After a time the voice spoke again this time it was a touch louder booming only within Vaati's head. "You my dear Vaati are the most interesting one of all. You protect your fellow dark dwellers and that is admirable; however I know your true nature. You've done things to even rival the great Ganondorf himself, you may have fooled yourself but you cannot hide your true colors from me. Inside you is a burning purple fire just begging to get out; join with me, my darling and we shall explore the darkest parts of your soul together. Anything you desire can be yours even that little bird that's always eluded your grasp......and if love isn't enough to sway you; I'm sure revenge against the haughty Sir. Raven for all your defeats in previous lifetimes will suffice." With that the voice faded and their minds again grew silent; that silence gave way the music and merry making breaking back in from the festivities around them.
